An early international feature
In 2017, my 46 m² Kyiv apartment project, Apartment CO, was selected for publication in I-PLUS: Interiors + Detail, an interiors and design magazine published in Seoul, South Korea.
Designed for a young couple and their cats, the apartment explored something that continues to shape my work today: how much life can thoughtfully fit into a relatively small space without making it feel crowded.
The project combined an open kitchen and living area, a compact home office, integrated storage, a separate bedroom and carefully considered furniture and lighting within just 46 square metres.
What makes this feature particularly meaningful to me now is seeing how many ideas that eventually became part of Kate's Design Therapy were already present in this project—designing around real life, making every square metre useful, and creating a home around the people who actually live there.
From Kyiv to Seoul
Apartment CO was published in Issue No. 015 of I-PLUS: Interiors + Detail by DMP Books, Seoul, South Korea, in January 2017.
