SPRING CLEANING
IT'S TIME TO UPGRADE YOUR LIFE
BEGINNING OF SPRING & ECLIPSE SEASON
We finally get to spring, after a long winter that always seems neverending. The sun rays and cute little tree buds show a new beginning and we desire to do it too. After shedding an old energy in winter we come to spring with new enthusiasm and ideas. So let's do it. Start all from the stretch.
Imagine it's a blank slate and you are following your true desires, your inner calling. What will you do? What do you want to do? What brings you joy and happiness?
It's difficult to answer sometimes, at least for me. But after listening to yourself you can figure it out. Just listen. Stop. And listen.
Imagine if you don't need to rush anywhere, do anything and you find the time for yourself. It doesn't call selfish, it calls self-care. Be there for yourself and you will have enough energy restored to be there for the people and work(tasks) you care about.
WHAT WORKS FOR ME:
First of all, I am a little bit of a cleaning freak... (ok, maybe a lot). Therefore, I will start by cleaning my space. You can begin slow and clean in chunks so as not to be too overwhelmed but enjoy the process.
#1 - I would start with DECLUTTERING and giving away stuff that no longer serves you. Imagine that everything that you have you carry every day on you. That is how energy works. All your possessions require your energy and attention. So the fewer items you have - the more energetic resources you have.
Look in your wardrobe, all the items you haven't worn in a year probably should go unless you have a strong emotional connection with them (but remember it still sucks your energy). Then check the linen closet and all drawers where there are a bunch of random things that are so jammed that you don't remember what is there. The good sign is that you might want to clean it up too.
*Don't forget to rest and praise yourself for the accomplished tasks.
#2 - Clean the WINDOWS. It's not a favourite or beloved task by people, but it brings more light to your space and makes a difference. I think you can agree that the sunlight and longer days make us more active. And so for light coming through the windows brings us a good boost as well.
I will go further and clean all the other surfaces in the house, but it's optional if you feel like doing it.
#3 - Take your time to enjoy your work, cook a tasty meal with your favourite drink and cherish yourself.
#4 - Don't forget to go outside and walk noticing your surroundings. I love walking meditation, for example. It's a perfect time for me to listen to my thoughts because my body is busy with the walking process and doesn't distract me from my daydreaming).
#5 - Now, finally you can buy something new that will make your life more efficient functionally or mentally. By functionally, I mean anything that will make your everyday task more efficient, easier and less time-consuming. By mentally, I mean it will bring you joy and a smile every day which is huge PLUS.
Optionally, if you are handy, you can repurpose some old stuff for new functions.
By now, your motivation and energy should rise and you will feel more empowered to hear your inner desires.
SOLAR ECLIPSE ON APRIL 8TH 2024 DISCLAIMER:
Everyone has heard of it by now, at least in Nothern America. It will be most visible here and will be a big deal.
Relax here, don't rush or push yourself too hard those days. We are experiencing big changes in our planetary surroundings and Earth's landscape, as well as climate. Our bodies are well adaptable to any changes, that is why we are still alive and haven't become extinct as a species. But now we are overloaded with external and internal changes, so be kind to yourself.
On the day of the eclipse, if you feel like following the best places to see it and meet it with a crowd, so do it. If you feel like just resting and reflecting on your life, it will be a good time. Listen to your intuition and trust it's playing on your team.
